Welcome to Container Plans! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, container-plans.com (the “Site”), and any purchases you make through it. By accessing the Site or purchasing any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. What We Do

Container Plans provides downloadable, pre-designed architectural drawing sets for modified shipping container units. These plans include essential construction and permitting documentation but do not include physical construction services, contractor coordination, or site-specific design customization unless explicitly stated.

2. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Site—including drawings, graphics, images, text, and downloadable files—are the intellectual property of Container Plans, LLC and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

When you purchase a plan set, you are purchasing a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the documents for one single project. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or use the plans for multiple builds without our written permission.

3. No Construction Warranty

We do not guarantee or assume responsibility for the final construction of any unit. Our plans have been used successfully on hundreds of builds, but it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all plans are reviewed and approved by a licensed professional (architect, engineer, or contractor) in your local jurisdiction. Local codes vary and may require modifications.

4. Permitting & Code Compliance

We provide general code-compliant plans based on widely accepted standards (e.g., IBC, NEC, IPC), but you are responsible for confirming compliance with local zoning, permitting, and building code requirements. We strongly recommend involving a local professional before construction.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. Once a file is downloaded, we cannot offer refunds, returns, or exchanges. If you have issues with your download or believe you’ve received the wrong files, please contact us—we’re happy to help resolve any technical issues.

6. Limitations of Liability

We are not liable for any damages—direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential—that result from the use of our Site or any of our plans. You agree to use our plans at your own risk and acknowledge that construction involves inherent risks that we cannot control.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Site for illegal or unauthorized purposes
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Site or other users
Share or resell our plans without a valid license

Violations of these Terms may result in termination of your access to the Site and legal action.

8. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with the effective date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept those updates.
